Been to Beaver Run Many times. Nice track!
Huge crash there. I've seen cars hit that before. Never comes out good.
Glad you were ok!

VR4 I'm glad you're ok and are still moving on with racing. That was one hell of a wicked crash. Best of luck in the future.

For obvious reasons + where is a much lesser space to work around in the cockpit. Meaning , your movements and space are limited already for you hands vs the Evo. We only had to use the window side arm ones form the begin with.
I don't think it will stop anything when you make it workable for the Evo, and bothers me when I am driving. Window net, i can see to work, and Hans type of things.
Closed cockpit, the arm restrain just silly in my opinion. There is a window net, which is a much better option + if you can leave the window up , even better.

BUT that is mine only personal experience and opinion.
I have them, but have never used them in a closed cockpit. Don't think I'd like them or ever will use them. I think I tested near the worst case scenario and my hands/arms came away untouched. Yeah they caught some air early in the launched though didn't they Thanks guys for all the well wishes...and back at ya.

I was glad to see that he was using a halo seat even though it was Sparco (I can say that because I had the exact seat)...I'm surprised more folks don't use halo seats at the track

halo seats are not very street friendly, but these Sparco Ergo seats with removable halo are nice.
