Blame the organizers and politicians; not the fans. The race wasn't promoted, facilities in the area were abysmal, nothing to do when the races/practice sessions weren't running, and Yeongnam might as well be bum-****-nowhere.

For such a new market the track should have been built close to a developed urban city where the infrastructure was already in place.

Granted, the fan base in South Korea is nowhere near the size as the one in America, but to fault the Korean fans, or lack thereof, for the failure of the event is ignorant.

 

I did not know that. Never been to Korea and didn't know anything about the setup. Just got disgusted seeing the stands so empty.

I was really worried COTA was going to be like that. Building a track that goes both directions in NASCAR country I was a little worried. So nice to see it was more than just good, it was HUGE.

I'm actually loving the Red Bull problems. And I'm Red Bulls/Vettels biggest fan boy. It's iust more fun when the fans of other teams get excited thinking it's over for Red Bull. Then the shock and dismay as Vettel wins race after race towards the middle of the season.

It's going to be fun this year. Can't wait.
