From: Why do they always call the Evo the Dark Side?
Well, we tried.
As I said before, I hope I'm wrong about the amount of course dependency the class has now...
That's not funny.

I haven't posted any videos yet, but I need to. Perhaps I'll do that tonight. Should be fitting considering I finally washed/drove it for the first time since garaging it after Nats.
But fair warning...my West course runs make are ugly.

The off season chores have begun on my STU tool... hopefully all said and done I will be CLOSER to Mr. Clark.. or perhaps the next fastest STU EVO..
Cheers to lightening the car by another 50+lbs, and adding a considerable amount of power, lightening the driver by 50lbs and learning to drive the lack of ABS better.
Looking forward to '14 Nationals already... this time with more than 3 events ever driving the car!

FYI, I got straight timed at the Utah Match Tour by a certain STR car on 255's thats coming to STU on 285's....guess everyone was worried/attention about a car that hasnt been build yet (C5), when a built car with a great driver IS gonna be there next year...
Also that course favored an AWD turbo (IMO): Full launch start and high altitude.
Would relocating the ACD be illegal for STU?
I think it could fall under 14.10.B which says "Original equipment traction control systems may be electrically disabled, but not removed or altered in any other way."
On one hand, it's not really altering or removing the system, it's just moving it's location. On the other hand, relocation isn't explicitly allowed like it is for batteries, meaning it could be disallowed. I'm interested in thoughts.

Based on that rule, it is clear to me. You can unplug the pump or pull the fuse (and run a fwd car!), but everything else must remain. Relocating is altering.
You can do that in SM, though
