Oh and hello to the NER evo guys, I recognize some names in this thread
SS rx7 (Rick) has a well prepped 03 and that car has always been in the mix at Nationals including finishing 1-2 in 2009. I'd rather have the front diff but I don't think it's a deal breaker especially if you have the car otherwise well prepared.

Thanks for the info and good to hear. I'm not looking to go all out with the car anyway. I was just wondering if it made a huge difference, but apparently not.

if any of you did write letters for wider tires, it doesn't look like they were listened to

Another surprise is that I have not seen mentioning of neither my (#15080) or John's (#15076) letter numbers in there...did I miss something?

Just another example of SCCA trying to fix class attendance by completely changing the status quo.

I think they were not in in time for whenever the last STAC call was or something like that.

Peters' 350Z is up for sale: http://forums.solo2.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8328

If I had room for another car, I'd love to pick that up.

Does anyone know what Peters will be driving next? It would be sad to see him leaving STU.

Apparently the car is already sold to someone here in Northern California. I'm not sure who yet, but I'll post it up when I find out.

STU is going to a battle royal with top STX and STR drivers jumping into the class.

Along with Bryan, fellow GT Academy finalist Jeff Stuart will be codriving another Z, Lugod and Yanase will be in a fully prepped C5. Including Geoff, that's just the west coast.

Too bad AWD didn't get the tire increase that STAC implied to happen, when the Z and C5 were initially added.

I figured that's who it was, but I didn't want to say anything until I confirmed.

Makes sense with the Nissan tie in. Nice guy, too bad he can't shoot pics during his heat.

Not to mention Lane Borg in a C5 and Nick Barbato has been playing in NE region in an STU HR 350z as well (not full prep and not sure if they plan to run any big events)...STU is going to be tough in 2015.
