They confirmed this via email.

Muellerized updated their site with new prices. Anyone know if Ohlins will replace/update the R&T model?

that's too bad. by "not supporting" I wonder if that means no servicing? same internal as any other of theirs, yes?

I just got these with 14/16k swifts. I have about 1000 miles on them including one trackday and I couldn't be happier.. I do road racing only btw.

A friend of mine have the ohlins RT on his 2010 sti and they are not meant for the track out of the box.

The same goes for the Evo version, if you do look at ohlins for around 2500 or so factor in another 1k for proper spring rates and revalving.

So long as you don't go higher or lower than 2k either direction with the Ohlins can you get away without having to get them revalved. At least that's what Andy at GTWORX has told me in the past.

But anything more than that xXANCHORMONXx is right, you will be looking at shipping and revalving plus a couple hundred bucks for the springs.

.
would be an interesting decision from Ohlins.
Ohlins sells all around the world not just in the USA... So there is literally 100's if not thousands of ct9a chassis racing all year long. From rally to road racing etc.
Then why they would close the CT9A chassis market only? That would be mean, they closing the older versions too from 6 to down to 1? That would be even more loss.
Hard to believe they would not support they customer who bought they product or sell new shocks for them if they need a replacement which is actually not unheard of , specially in rally. Besides Rally shocks are yearly being rebuild one way or other.

interesting to hear this at least.
Or very well be i didnt understand something again ..lol

Let me try reaching out to them directly. I'll post the response in this thread.

This is what WORKS had to say when I contacted them a few weeks ago:

Hi Noah,

We still support and service them since all of the internal parts are still readily available from Ohlins.
The other vendors have stopped carrying them because they are no longer being produced. We probably have the only new set in the entire world!

Thank you,
WORKS Team

that is weird ... my friend just bought last week a set up for his Evo. Maybe he is talking about one particular model of the Ohlins but not a suspension line up for the CT9A?

Welcome to the world of aftermarket parts development.

R&D for next New Platform -> Sell for New Platform -> Cancel product once Platform stops making revenue -> R&D for next New Platform -> wash, rinse, repeat.

I think i got lucky then i didnt get Ohlins. With Reiger i never heard, they stopped supporting any of they products. Would be bad for me if they would stop supporting . I mean i spend a lots of money on the suspension, and would be really bad if i find out like 3 years later , i have no support for it or even replacement ...

Rob, it might just be for the general public or for more causal use. They might still be making products for race teams, etc.
