SCCA Solo: ASP Gets one Back!
I'll have wets but Mike Brausen already called dibs on borrowing them.
Looking forward to meeting a bunch of ASP/SM Evo guys! I cancelled my Finale registration to save the car (had to replace the t-case after the Wilmington Pro) and just don't feel comfortable with another Pro right now. But I'll still be there for the Finale weekend to watch some awesome Evo launches!
Safe travels everyone and good luck with any last minute prep!

So Nationals has come and gone. It was great to finally meet some of the people contributing to this thread. Marshall, Tom Berry, Mike Brausen, Rich Jones... everyone of you are super cool dudes. The entire ASP crowd was extremely friendly too, which makes my decision to come back to play next year very easy.
I will say that I was extremely disappointed with myself and the car last week. Ever since the Wilmington Pro the car hasn't felt "right". I replaced the transfer case but I still have this nagging feeling like there's still something wrong beyond just setup. It "feels" like it's lost a lot of its "AWD-ness" and is very much a RWD Evo. Just watching my codriver get off the line it seems like the front wheels are doing practically nothing. Granted, I have a 40/60 center diff with 1.5-way rear which Mark Daddio suspects is not ideal for Lincoln's "load sensitive" surface (as he put it).
I have a lot of ideas for what I want to do next season after watching Marshall, Tom, and Aaron (assuming there are no drivetrain issues to fix). Some ideas include increasing front stiffness (stiffer springs and/or front swaybar), going to bigger wheels, and jumping on the aero bandwagon... if nothing else to take advantage of allowance I'm given.
I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts on their Nationals experiences this year. Again, it was great to meet a lot of you, and I look forward to next year.
