My end-goal, once I ditch A/C. Well... unless I sell to go full race car.

Summary: So being it's been forever since I've been given a brake from the house project I wasn't at my best but my focus was mostly on getting ya'll this data and remembering what I needed to remember for next time. I was way outclassed in ST2 but I had fun none the less and placed 3rd.

So here's the output from that run:

Ignore those first dips, that's traffic bunching up after a hot lap and me having to come to a stop almost before the green flag.

What it doesn't say....is that we forgot to tighten the oil cap after refilling it from a new catch can setup thats sucking oil from the dipstick (another post). Thus, this pan KEPT optimal PSI even though 2 quarts of oil managed to escape all over the engine bay (yes, I'm still finding oil from when the dipstick let go, and now this lol). I'm convinced it saved my motor this round. And no, no leaks from the pan still
Got it - thanks.

What logger are you using? Is it possible to plot against rpm and or lateral G?

Yes a proper dry sump kit seems to be the only proper fix to maintain oil pressure. What kits are popular in the states? I see Magnus do a kit any others? Over here in the UK - two popular kits from Norris Designs and APT & Pace Products.

Race Technology DL1. I don't have the software/logs on the same system currently but i'll try for it this weekend. Ya most of the kits are pretty stout, the latest one seems to by the Dailey engineering kit that integrates the pump into the pan for better stiffness.

Well ya you can see it in that vid lol. But the overlays/static graphs I'd have to compile.

We've got a little testing in using the RaceFab pan. We also run a 2qt accusump with it as well. We're still seeing some drops on right handers.

Sorry no RPM because RaceCapture sucks. (went back to Traqmate after this event)

Andy if I remember correctly when you only had the Accusump the oil pressure would occasionally drop to 50psi in right hand corners. So it seems the oil pan upgrade helped the oil pressure go up 30 more Psi?

Personally I decided with go with Kaj's oil pan design and test it out.

No.

On Right handers:
Stock pan and nothing else- would see drops in the high teens.
Stock pan with Accusump- low 30psi range but fall to high 20's if long sweeper.
RaceFab with Accusump- mid to high 30's

Still haven't found anything that keeps pressure at a perfect 70-80psi.

Hmm, lowest I've seen is 42 without any accusumps pulling about 1.4-1.6g's but of course 80 is more optimal. However 42 is far better then 13 which I was seein before. Again it bridges the gap better then most other options but doesn't fill it. It's one of those priorities questions, do I spend 5k on redoing the turbo setup or 5k on a drysump lol.

Andy is the difference between your setup and Balrok's setup the Tomei Oil slicer vs the Accusump, since both you guys are running the same oil pan?
