Guessing you guys have a chassis mounted wing and have to remove it to remove the trunk?

we cut the carbon trunk into 3 sections. the sides are permanently fixed and the center is removable. its screwed on for now but will get dzus fasteners in the future.

got our roof laid up. the surface finish has some imperfections but it'll work for now.

we put embeds for the hinges that seem to be decently rigid and a foam brace. it added to the stiffness quite a bit.

whats the weight difference between your carbon hood and oem hood. could have design some vents into the carbon hood?

ours weighs 6 lbs, oem is about 22lbs. even our aftermarket carbon one was 23lbs. and we will be cutting some vents in it later.
