Half poking fun but seriously, seen Jeremy's car from PP first hand, it's not like there's a tire wall to save you, plus gravity, plus your speeds, you sound like you know so get to it. Got a hans and wrist straps at least?

No I fully agree, I definitely need to get a fire suit and shoes and gloves. Maybe wrist straps too. I do have a Hans though, so there's that at least. And we are planning on installing our door bars before our next race. We had a good buddy get in a bad wreck at this last event. He didn't have a cage and did not fare well. It hit home big time.

hill climb in our area requires full race car tech, that includes full cage and fire suite.

^^and after seeing what i saw last weekend, i kinda wish our sanctioning body at least required a cage. even if that meant half the racers that were there couldn't participate and it could potentially double our entry fees, it would still be worth it.

yeah, streets are not built with racing in mind, not built like a track with safety features.

did something this weekend i havent done in a LONG time - went to a car show!

i was nervous the stanced cars would mock our not so fancy race car but it seemed to be well received - we even got 1st place in the race car category.

thanks ... although we'd rather be racing than sitting in a parking lot telling every kid that walks up what kind of turbo the car has.

they don't care about the suspension, built diffs, build motor, cage, aero ... nope - they care about the turbo! haha

That sounds about right. It's all about hard parking and comparing turbos.

and we got the dash and switch panel attached. obviously we don't like adding weight but want to make the car look more presentable - its a fine line
