Love the carbon pieces, super jelly! And the subframes look pretty sweet too. Which shop did you get those from? I'd love a new front subframe for many reasons between my rusted up POS, to the weight savings, to the ease of trans R&R etc.

Thank you. it has been a frustrating process. hopefully we are learning enough that it keeps getting easier.

you wouldnt be jealous if you knew how many hours we spend making those damn things! haha

we went with the Diamond Race cars part. After talking to Dan and seeing some pics of the parts i gladly paid retail on our first phone call. The quality is great. We sat our spare rear diff in last weekend to test fitment and it is spot on. From others posts his fitment to the chassis is spot on as well.

Haha fair enough However reading this thread 2500 miles away, what I see is beautiful lightweight one off carbon parts and I can't help but be jealous!

And of course the subframes are just works of art! This build keeps getting better and better! Keep up the good work it'll pay off in the end!

Our Transfer case and rear end are done at TRE. Our transmission needed a lot of loving so we send it another to get the TRE treatment!

we had one t case that we knew was messed up pretty badly and one that was new from mitsubishi with 10k miles on it. (street, autox, and a season oh hillclimbs). The "new" tcase was messed up as well! glad we sent both in.

Yeah, they are fairly easy to hurt if you abuse/launch them wrong. Other than that they're pretty stout. Gotta make sure wheel hop on corner exit is also kept in check because that can hurt them as well.

ive been racking my brain on why the newer one was messed up and i hadn't thought about the bouncing out of corners. some of the hills we are on are pretty bumpy. luckily we have a new suspension setup coming that should help with that!
