while i do find this car beautiful - it is by no means a show car!
wish he had more. the smaller ones should be 13-15lbs when all done and perfect for 300-400track and id guess 450+ autox cross cars. seems like there would be a good market for those.

What are you looking to do specifically? If you're after open track test days those are to be had without classing (time yourself with your own data), 8+hrs of time if you have the stamina lol. However in NASA normally if you're just doing laps and don't want to get in the way if things go sour then HPDE4 is where to be. Or is doing TT or door to door competition the end goal?

You'd end up in TTU aka Unlimited then so don't worry about classifications or dynos. Just email Matt or Dave (on the reg page) and ask to be in HPDE4 with a possible check out ride/lead follow during the weekend. Some of them call it "provisional TT" where you can get timed but don't get points or win anything until you get your TT license. In the meantime run your own laptimer/data.

Snapped a couple more this evening. Our shop is such a disaster we don't take too many pics due to the chaos!
One rear door mounted ... mostly. Use dzus fasteners. I've had race cars in the past that used them but this is the first time mounting them. Need to laser out a few longer brackets for the lower part of the door.
Motor is ready and waiting. Bryant put on a new head gasket and timing belt for the start of the season. He also got us a sweet dry sump and ati fluid damper. It's looking more and more like a race car!
Our pallet of goodies from Jon at TRE got picked up Friday! Fully built trans, two transfer cases, and his pimped out rear diff are on the way. We used his rear diff last season and it was amazing. This season we sent a stocker in to get some loving and that way we'll have a spare.
This week will consist of continuous work on the wiring, fitting panels, working on ducting for rear radiator, and shop cleanup. We have a crew of guys lined out for next weekend so we can get the driveline and suspension back on the car.

Man, you guys are cutting it close to getting done by late may event. What do you think your timeline is?
I got sick this weekend but taking tomorrow off to finish up machining yours and TPA's control arms. After that just waiting for the spacers in stainless to arrive and replace the temp aluminum ones Ive been running.

I'm hoping the have the brake duct finished Tuesday to ship out your way. Would, you have time to turn around the uprights or should we do that after the may event?

I can turn the uprights around in a day, that's no problem. Though probably would be better to wait considering all the things you have going on. Just assemble what you have now to prep for Pikes Peak. If you really feel like you need them (I dont think you do for PP) then I can turn it around ASAP for you.
