by not having to walk around me from just standing around.

 

got a front door mounted. you can see bryant is slaving away rewiring most of the car. last season it was a rats nest (it worked but it wasn't pretty) so OCD in him took over and its all getting redone.




We still need to figure out how we're going to latch it. for the first time trial in utah it might be a bungie cord!


made aluminum hinges because according to Bryant the steel hinges were too heavy

that is a concern and we have a couple of ideas to help with that if needed. hopefully its stable enough once we get the latch figured out.

They're pretty dang light. Once we get the latch and window in they may double in weight!

we used some foam from homedepot last year in our hood. It helped a ton but the new stuff we are using is much lighter and stiffer. We may drop even more weight off of the next revision.
