Have you guys looked into the WiseFab stuff? they should be publically releasing it soon for the Evo. I ordered a full kit and should be arriving to the states pretty soon.

If its not trimmed the rod end stubs against the steering arm.

Long enough: yes.

I haven't done my alignment yet but eyeballed about 1/2" between the rod end and the steering rod with 3/4" longer LCA. Granted, I put my steering rack on rotated 1/8" too far to the driver side, so

I have the LCA drop on full and the toe arm as low as it will go.

Good news, everything is aimed significantly downwards with 6 3/8" between the ground and front lifting points.

Unfortunately, there is only 2.5" between the splitter and the ground so I can't see the arm angle reference through the brake ducting in the front bumper. I don't really have anything to measure bump steer and I am not sure how I would stroke the suspension unless I removed the strut springs. So.... pretty much just guessing and hoping that the angles between the arms match up.

1/2" sounds about perfect. Plenty of room on both ends then with the coupler I sent. For bump steer, if you give me your Caster I can tell you where to start. But I did the whole remove the spring and jack up and down the suspension to find a point it had the least change.

Down to 5 sets from the first batch. Won't have the money to order a second batch till I get down to one set left that batch will also go up $250 after early adopter price.

Will post up more info on the Control arms here soon too. Just gotta get to a point I'm happy with the direction.

I'll have to start a new thread when they arrive. They haven't announced the evo kit public yet but I was able to get a close up with Tony from UMS tuning who is a dealer. He got me an early kit and should be here within a few weeks. Comes with all 4 spindles, lower control arms, and toe arms. If you look them up, they have many kits out for other chassis, you can get an idea from there.

Interesting, seems like a bunch of options are all coming out for the Evos lately. Each with different approaches. Will be interested in seeing what they did but their other kits look to be water jet plates welded? Assuming its aluminum still? I wonder if they are doing any post welding heat treatment to retain -T6 properties around the weld zones.

Looks like a nice setup. What does it cost? Most of their Macstrut front kits seem to be around $1500 from Evasive.

Checked out the Wisefab site & most of their control arm / hub kits look like approx $2600 per front / rear

Great to see them doing some AWD work as their website makes no Mitsu mention & have catered to the Drift segment, increasing Ackerman

I think I saw on FB or Instagram that it was around 5500-6k for the full kit front/rear kit? Seems reasonable for the amount of parts on the car but I haven't seen any specifics on geometry changes to know if they are just making billet parts or actually fixing things.

I asked Rob from racefab if he made any uprights. He only has arms/kits which add 30mm for bump steer but no uprights.

Wait, I just looked closer... Do I see the lower ball joint bolted on with 4 ~M6 screws? And further grooves cut around the annulus of the shaft? Please tell me its at least 41xx steel and not aluminum or stainless?

In all my FEA work on the uprights, the strength limit has always been the ball joints and tie rods. Making that part weaker is not a step in the right direction.
