Okay, I'm an idiot, or at least I have a bad memory. I just remembered that the 265s were on a +27 set of wheels. No wonder they were a harder fit! I've had this car for 12 years, 5 turbos, countless tires, etc., so it's hard to keep track. Sorry!

Specifically these are Pirelli full slicks 265/645R18 on RPF1 18x9.5 +38s with 23mm spacers up front. I had to use an offset bushing in my lower control arm to keep them from hitting the body.

The paint missing from my front fenders suggest otherwise. They didn't rub until I ran them at the track. I'm sure if I was just parking it hard at the diner they would fit just fine Maybe my standards for clearance are too high?

The effective 15mm offset is a bit low and does create a bigger swing of the tires outer edge. Can you run less offset or are you limited on the wheels and brake clearance? I'm going to be doing a set of custom lightweight hubcentric wheel spacers if you get to the point of looking for something specific for your car.

I started with 20mm spacers but I had <1mm clearance on the brembos up front. Purchased some custom 23mm to meet brembo clearance requirements. Besides I heard some complaints about RFP1 flex, so I figured it was extra important.

That all being said. Take my word on them not fitting. I think the alignment is correct as I get the right tire wear on the tires. Perhaps I could bring up the ride height up a bit? It is going to be due for a corner balance and an alignment.

One question I haven't heard much feedback on... Fender liners? Voltex? Fender Mod?

Which RPF1s? The 18x10s have plenty of clearance with 20mm spacers and I'll probably face off a couple mm on mine to move them in even further. But that much offset is definitely causing more issues cause it sounds like I have less rubbing than you with 295s on 18x10.5? wheels.

Cant speak to alternate liners, I just run some hacked up and nearly worn out OEM liners.

Ahh I see. Looks like not the 18x9.5" is the tightest of the RPF1 bunch. The 17x10 doesn't even need a spacer.

I wish I had known that before. Seems odd there is that much variation in caliper clearance on the same offset different widths.

My car fits a 255/40r17 NT01 on a 17x10 +38 with a 20mm spacer, stock front fender, rolled/pulled rear.

The NT01 runs extra wide, it's about square (no bulge, no stretch on a 10" wide wheels). Not sure how wide those Pirelli slicks are, but my NT01's are easily as wide as the 265/35r18 RE11's that I use on the street.

i ran 285 and 275 tires on stock fender for many years. the tires does stick out pass the fenders but they dont rub, unless you got your car slammed. but i got Victory Function front fenders last year. the style is not for everyone but i got them for function.

For reference, here's a Voltex fender (which I believe is +25mm) w/ 18x10.5 +5, 285/30, and -4 degrees of camber. No room to go much wider than that with these.

Did you go even wider to fit the 315s? You also have less inboard clearance with the motons, I should make you a one off strut mount spacer to push the strut further inboard for clearance. I probably have some raw scrap material sitting around to make a pair.

I haven't gotten them yet, but I'm planning on going with the Voltex Cyber overfenders, similar to kidloco51. He recently posted pics in his build thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mo...thread-46.html

The front is 18x11+3 (+18 w/ 15mm spacer), and look how much room there is still.

I have way less clearance with the JRZs than any other shock I've used. The bad thing is they also don't have any camber adjustment in the mount bolt like other shocks, so I can't just adjust to make them as far outboard as possible as use the plate to set my camber.

How much camber are you able to get with the JRZs? Can you take a picture of that inboard clearance? I have an idea to make the strut mount longer to give more inboard clearance.
