I am talking about breakaway torque as specced by ralliart in their diff manual... (measured with a tq wrench with the other shaft held in a vice.. I am not sure about spring preload as it is done by a cone washer of various thickness...

This is a ralliart diff used in gr N on tarmac. It came with a 45/0 deg ramp but it also has a 45/5 ramp so it can work as a 1.5 diff... 52 deg ramp is also available separately..

Six plates per side, so I can re stack it if nedeed... I know it works in rally but wanted to try it on the road and track... so will use the less preload for start..
I am not too bothered by noise but would like to avoid CV and driveshaft damage if possible..

Question for your ASP guys. Is removing the MAS in lieu of converting to speed density legal?

I seem to remember Tom Berry having speed density. Though I dont recall a rule that allows or disallows it.

Whole intake is free to modify, so I would think you could do what ever you want in there. As of adding new sensors to the SP, that part I am not sure about...gut feel would be that is OK, but than again...

Curious as to why no one has gone to the 315 A7 in ASP??? Other than cutting the car up.

Will be interesting to see what they decide to change and if it impact SM. Im cool with a ST SM style class but it will have to change what cars are in what class. I can put 500 down with my 275 RA-1s (not as good as a top tier tire these days) where a 2wd guy is going to suffer much harder.

At that point, there really will need to be an AWD separation.

there is no official plan to do anything with SP. People are jumping to conclusions based on the participation numbers.

First, great driving at Lincoln man!

Secondly, is there any hope for a Street class AWD shuffle now that CTR is in there a FoRS is not doing that great.

Not a single run was made by me and the car broke down on my co-driver's third run. =(

Now back to fixing the car.....based on a fellow autoxer opinion, the front diff is probably shot (which in hindsight should have been swapped out also at the time).
Just to follow up on my post here. Got my car back and decided to go with the WavTrac front diff. I have done two autox events since then and the difference compared to the stock diff is phenomenal. The car works much better in sweepers as I can feel the front end pulls the car more and allows the rear end to come out with a more controlled slide.

I also have the TRE rear diff but I actually didn't feel the back end works as well until after the WavTrac (maybe they are working together as a package now?) The car is a lot more drivable in sweepers now, but the real test is when the temperature is in the 80s. The two events I did were in the high 50s, and my car generally feels a lot better in cooler temperature anyways.

Correct. I am on A7. I didn't get any videos in the last few events, but will try to get some next season. Probably won't show much in the video as this improvement needs to be felt in the driver seat....=)
