It's definitely track dependent. Also, although the PA guys haven't lost and engine from starvation yet it doesn't mean they aren't seeing accelerated bearing wear from low pressure.

The problem with oiling issues is that everything is fine until it isn't.

A couple of years back a company called GB Enterprises where involved with AT Power in the development of a gear driven fully integrated dry sump kit. Some sort of disagreement happened and it all got shelved but these are some of the pictures that where posted.

AT Power do make an integrated kit for K20/24 engines but no idea how good the kit is

Yeeeeeesssss.... that's the plan. Eventually. Once the shortcomings are addressed, that is.

I mean, PA's car isn't even on a dry sump yet. And their motor failures weren't oil starvation. A good pan is good enough for what a lot of are doing.
This isnt really true. We log oil pressure and had an accusump and we were getting oil starvation on long rh turns on 2 different engines and on 2nd engine 2 diff oil pumps.

We do however have a particularly nasty long rh sweeper here but any decent power car being tracked could consider drysump. Cheap insurance

I think the advantage of the tuner kits and stuff is a lot of times because of your particular layout you need to make your own hoses and stuff to put the tank and everything where you want it.

If I was going to buy one myself I would purchase the magnus tuner kit, and make the lines and filters and stuff to suite my car.

Grip is only part of the equation when you are talking about dry sump options. You should also consider oil temps, aeration problems that stem from rpm and horsepower. I spent years trying to skirt the problems with this in a multitude of ways....but in the end the dry sump was the ticket.

All the kits u have to make ur own tank lines etc. So u can put ur tank where u want. The only lines that come with the full kit eg norris are the scavenge from sump to pump

Mine is seeing 90+ at redline with pump backed off as well. Where are you guys measuring oil pressure?

at the outlet of the filter right before it goes into the engine.

Today, I pulled the trigger with Dailey Engineering. I look forward to inroducing them on this thread and/or starting a dedicated Dailey Engineering Dry Sump Build Thread as we move forward. Obviously, the goal is to share with all of you and drive more business their way. This has been an amazing undertaking and education just in research. The service and quick customer support has been equally amazing leading up to this point.

I am really impressed with their service in regards to my email. I made it clear to them that I was just trying to gather info from different vendors, not looking to buy just yet. They didn't treat me like a tire kicker. They still treated me well.
I'm looking forward to seeing how their support continues, once the product is purchased. That will be the real test.
Congrats! I'm jealous. Their kit is super sexy and I'm sure that's the direction I'll be going.
