Anyone (in NZ maybe) want to sell me on old dented oil pan? Also how much is it to ship an oil pan to NZ?

Wait another week for me to release my results - then you can buy one of mine
No exchange required!

Just to be clear, is RSMike's prototype for RaceFab?

No, RaceFab has been the wet sump answer up until now. RSMike's been working to provide better oiling than the RaceFab could.

Ah sorry. I got confused by that link that was posted. I'll standby and wait; I'm not too excited dealing with silicon sealants again so might as well wait for the latest

Thanks for your patience guys.
We've finally done a true back-to-back test with our pan against the "leading competitor" unit.
Same car, same tyres, same oil, same oil level, same driver, etc.
No changes were made to the car between runs. They were 6 days apart.

Massive gains on all right-hand corners, with a huge reduction in oil surge.
There is still a little surge on the last corner (T6) as it's over 8-seconds long. But only dipping to ~63psi (not ~35psi).
**Oil pressure sensor is in the mains gallery, not the oil filter housing. Oil filter housing will read 10-12psi higher.

I'm extremely happy with the results, there is now another option rather than going straight to dry-sump for the Evo platform.
Pricing will be $1650USD plus freight. I'm in the process of doing our first production batch of 20x units.

Still cheaper than a dry sump. Very nice.

what is freight gonna be?

also, i asked before but is this something that we can just bolt on and slap on an oil pressure regulator (i.e., bolt on, even if we dont have an oil pressure sensor)? and is there an example oil pressure regulator that is recommended? as in, an amazon link to one?

It's non exchange also, you dont have any send your existing oil pan in to get modified.
And we've worked it around the OEM pickup, so that doesn't get modified either.

The unit comes complete, with everything you need to bolt on and go:
Extended Oil pan (we started with Evo 9 OEM oil pan).
Oil Pressure regulator and oil feed line.
All bolts and gaskets.

The oil pressure regulator will be "set" to a generic setting similar to OEM. But it's highly recommended that this be checked as oil pressure changes with grade/quality of oil (5W30 versus 15W50 etc).
The regulator is made in house in New Zealand. The oil feed line is Speedflow with crimped fitting for high reliability etc.

Freight to USA is: (USD)
1x $135
2x $179 ($89.50 ea)
3x $242 ($80.66 ea)
4x $315 ($78.75 ea)

Yup clearance is similar, should be slightly more with ours. I'm running a 3.5" exhaust on our shop Evo 6.
But it does stick out ~110mm forward from the standard oil pan position.
So around another 60mm over the Racefab unit.
Lower intercooler piping (LICP) would be the only potential issue. But I think it'll work with most kits. As most kits keep the LICP close to the underside of the radiator.

Yes you'll need an OEM Evo 9 oil pump pickup. Part number MD343947.

shouldn't be any clearance issue to LICP, here's a pic of my racefab, LICP in the upper right of the picture.

def in for a few pics of the pan installed.

Im down for a set! Obviously I've been following and chatting with Mike since early on, I think its a great option without the complexity of a drysump and external oil pump. And now with back to back testing its pretty much the only thing anyone has actually been willing to share real data on.
