Ha yeah I've had to bend wrenches, shave down sockets, improvise solutions to get more torque on things and of course just buy special or new tools. On top of modifying already aftermarket parts to work with other aftermarket parts on the car. Just comes with the territory.
I am an engineer, so nothing you say is news to me. I have limited machine tools. Removal of OFH was the right move for me due to the OFH being bent toward the pan. I am aware of a broad class of mfg and casting methods. I limit mods intentionally sine most aftermarket parts are not better than OEM.
IE pan is an exception.
Some installed pics on a car with OEM oil cooler and lines. The lines do need some **very** slight tweaking, but they do work and fit.
This car has 3.5" exhaust.

Here are a couple of pics with the regulator, to give people an idea of the final product.
The regulator can be mounted in either direction, depending on fitment and requirements.
The fitting at the end of the braided hose goes into the oil filter housing.
Do they all have the extra NPT port on the pan for an oil temp sensor? I already run a sensor in the OFH and would prefer to no have an extra leak risk with a plugged port on the pan as well.

Gidday - yup they all come with the 1/8NPT port.
But they also come with a bung for them, so you can block them up. No extra parts needed, they are included.

Your oil temp sensor should be in the pan for accurate/relevant temp measurements anyways.
Happy to report, my stiff fingers got it done and the the oil pan is in.
Need to make a little adjustment to my 10AN oil cooler line. Also, I had to grind a corner from my front cover/oil pump
@RSMike , have you test fit this kit with an ATI damper? They are large OD than stock, looks like its already close to the stock damper and may not fit the ATI.

Yup - works with ATI damper.
The first batch I did were 10AN, and they didn't fit.
But the new 8AN outlet fittings are smaller in diameter and clear OK (have installed one here on a car with ATI in New Zealand).
Ready to ship at the end of this month (January 2023) !
Just waiting on the Zinc Platers to come back to work on the 16th.
26 kits available, half a dozen or so pre sold.
All come with the latest revision of oil filter housing fitting and 90 degree fitting oil line.
100% made in New Zealand!
Infinite Evo oil pans being welded together after acid dip and extension folding/welding.
New XRP 8AN male ORB fitting going directly into the regulator body. This eliminates a fitting and allows for a tighter oil line (closer to engine).
Had to wait 4 months for XRP to make these fittings!
