Waiting only 4 months for something would be a dream come true in my industry right now.

Nice updates all around.

Hows your ground clearance with that 10AN black line under the regulator?
Do you have any space to route it above the reg?

A new batch of 26 Infinite Evo oil pans is now finished, with 10 available for immediate shipment.
Serial numbers 51 to 60 are boxed up and ready to go.

Thinking about making serial number #100 free! It will be a huge milestone for the project.

More results coming in from racing customer's now.
Oil temp is a bit high on this one, but oil pressure is rock solid.
This is a true club level car with semi slicks, doing 7-8 lap races.

PINK LINE - Oil pressure. Rock solid!

Was this bens car at HD? he was on full slicks i think. I was also struggling with oil temp that weekend it was just stupid hot ambient wise. pretty solid pressure for a wet sump in those temps

With the Evo thermostat system, just go as big on the oil cooler as you can really.
I'm testing a water/oil system on my car. If that doesn't work, i'll just do a full-sized oil cooler in front of the radiator.

I don’t get the need to get the oil temp as low as possible?
I mean, yeah it deteriorates faster but many modern cars run 260f+ oil temps and have no issues. My C7z runs 265f oil temps (water to oil factory cooler) and I can do 3 track days on the same oil (oil analysis data) running M1 15w50 which is not fancy oil.

I dont know of any logical reason to run your oil at 260ºF rather than 212ºF.
Meaning - if you could have your max oil temp of 212ºF rather than 260ºF - why not?
Fuel boils off at around ~190ºF, water boils off at 212ºF.

With that extra ~50ºF of oil temp, clearances and tolerances move a lot, oil gets thinner. More demand on the coolant system.

It's one thing for an OEM built engine with a scientifically developed oil system and recommended oil weight to run that hot. Or a race engine with millions of dollars in development to run over 300*.

But we don't really have that in our Evo's. There's no reason to let oil get above 230*, or more than about 20* hotter than coolant temp.

If you put more heat into the oil then does the engine block have a lower temperature while operating? Thats an interesting question I might want to investigate at a later date.

It's not a matter of how much heat is put into the oil, it's how much heat you remove from it via the cooler.
