As many of you know, I purchased my first home last September. And as a result, I have been forced to reevaluate my finances to compensate for possible job loss, home repairs and/or car maintenance.
Continuing to pursue certain hobbies that carry critical financial risks is just not feasible for me anymore. My interests in cars is just such a risk. Therefore, I've decided to scale back my involvement with the car community. One would ask, "Why not just come to the meets and don't do anything to your car?" Practically that would be the ideal situation, but realistically, it would be very hard to do due to the high influence of seeing other people modding their cars and going to track days/cruises. At some point, I would either break something or use money to make the car go faster. Right now, I just can't risk that.
I'll be around on the forums from time to time and sometime in the foreseeable future, I do plan to be more active; but right now, I just have to take a backseat. I hope you guys understand.

Yeah, dinners are harmless. If you need a sponsor for "Modders Anonymous," I'll volunteer. I decided when I got my car I was going to shoot for a specific level of upgrades and then cool it. So far, so good....well, I did get the idea to upgrade the intercooler and SST cooler, but that's for safety as much as adding any additional power. But aside from that....nothing else.....I mean it this time.
