Also heard ftom a tint guy (not sure hiw true this is), but home tint, since most homes now-a-days are double pane, require a specialty tint, or it could crack the window pane as heat will be trapped in between the glass.

no problem there, we have double pane windows, and the vacuum seals between them are all popped already

Having done tint and solar screens, I vote screens.

a) they're not permanent
b) they can make the house look more attractive (much like tint on car windows), especially if you pay for the gridding
c) tint bubbles
d) home buyers don't like tint and it is far more permanent

Now I've got tint on my front storm door and I love it because you can't see through it until you get up to the house, so I can leave the front door open, the storm door closed (and locked) and get some light in/let the dogs watch traffic [IE bark at the UPS guy] and it really, really cut down on the front door's fading (S facing front door).

We've got solar screens on the rest of the house. You can't see in through them during the day and they seem to help with the heat.

I've got one window in my master that doesn't have blinds (funny half moon shape) but has a screen and I'm about to tint it as well since it's the source of a lot of heat in that room in the summer afternoon.

That's a really good deal. I keep forgetting to check Groupon for stuff like that.

I have a open seat for the Evolution Dynamics trip up to Pikes Peak Hill Climb to watch Mr. Foley attack the hill. Split the gas 4 ways ends up just under $100 each.

We are also looking for someone to split a room with mr. Bryan as well. Rooms are $99 a night so you pay $50 ($150 for 3 nights)

Riding with us and splitting a room will cost you under $300 ($100 gas / $150 hotel room) that is hard to beat.

We will be leaving Friday (July 6th) around 8 in the morning and caravaning back with the EvoD crew Monday (July 9th).

Who's coming with me??

I would be all over this and I wanted to come out. But I just realized this is the same weekend of my friends wedding in San Marcos.

Quick question - I keep getting asked about if I am having Transfer Case issues in my X MR. This from people who don't own or drive them. Is this a common problem that I am completely under the radar about? If so what's the real deal?

I haven't heard much about it. A few drag racers have blown theirs, but mostly it's the rear diff that's an issue (and only at high hp)
