I definitely wouldn't call it stellar quality. It's simply good quality. If I had the money it would be ToxicFab or Full Race. The MAP dump just simply works for a good price.

is there some way i can hear it? i have been wanting one for a long time, but in my older age im no longer in the whole "the louder the better" phase, unless it involves subwoofers. i want to hear how loud it really is

That turbo is off my old IX and was a very early prototype EF3; months before actual production began. Machining processes have changed since then from what they learned during the beta program. This is a common risk associated with testing pre-production prototype parts. I personally spoke with the owner of MAP regarding that turbo failure and he said if the current owner sends it back to them for inspection they'll get it repaired.

If you care to see more of their craftsmanship you are welcome to check out my car. I have many of their fabricated components including some prototype and custom one-off parts.

This thread has been dead for a couple of days. Anyone have any personal references for golf instructors? Not too expensive!

YouTube

That and find people who have played a lot and ask them. They might not be the best but they have been doing it longer than you and would obviously be helpful to getting started.

Vigil up at EvoD used to install vinyls for a loving. If you bring him some Crown, I'm sure he'd be happy to help you.
