Top 2 motorsports documentaries of all time: Senna & Truth in 24

I just watched Senna last night on Netflix instant streaming and it was fantastic.

 

we watched senna on netflix streaming a couple nights ago too. really is good.

whats really amazing is many of the people involved back then are still involved now. adrian newey just designed the fastest F1 car for 2011. again.... 20 years later.

 

Senna almost screwed me. We watched it a few days ago, and afterwards my wife started crying and saying she didn't want me racing any more. She calmed down and changed her mind, but.... scary

 

I wonder how the two risks compare- DFW fwy vs MSR. . . It feels scarier on the fwy!. . .and i had a brake line failure at 100+

 

You should invest in a HANS type device and the safety equipment to go with it. This was one of my "stopping the track madness" considerations 18 months ago.


In other news, the new Top Gear India special airs tonight on BBC2, so get your torrents ready!

 

Hehe. That could be pretty funny. I'd like to see a sup'd up auto rickshaw drive a slalom using cows instead of cones.

 

Go watch the Vietnam one from the last couple years. It was awesome. "Me dong's all wet!"

Should have explained. I got rid of the streaming forever ago. most of the streaming movies were old crap i had already seen or new releases I didn't care to see. Maybe the library has gotten bigger. I'll have to look into it.

but for now on dvd/blu ray its says unknown.

 

Check out the streaming again, the library has gotten much better recently, I've been finding more on there I want to watch that I do actual discs. I'm actually thinking of dropping the disc portion.

I thought Senna was just ok. If I wasn't somewhat interested in motorsports there's no way I would have sat through it.

Also since I knew how it ends... um... well... it really wasn't any sort of shocker
