The "E70" blend doesn't really happen in DFW or most warm weather states, ask anyone that's been running it for a while. I don't think I've ever seen anyone post anything below E77 out of DFW. Generally its E79-E80 in the winter and summer is E83-E86 depending on where you're at.

If you were getting the CEL from lean occasionally on E-85...check your fuel pump. I was having this problem and my walbro was failing after 20k miles. It has been replaced and is running like a champ now. It wouldn't show up on pump gas because it's not having to push nearly as much fuel so if that's the case it can be failing yet still support running around on pump gas most likely until it completely craps out on you. Also FWIW if it is failing and you continue to push it, especially on pump gas, you're just begging for a blown motor. I dunno if you've got a wideband or not but I'd watch it very closely until you get that sorted out as well as knock.

Lots if people say its the conversion kit sometimes too. I have the ultimate racing one and right after i got it, i heard nothing but bad things. Apparently cobb is the on company that makes decent conversion kits for the fuel pump that i know of

I don't see how it could be the conversion kit itself causing your problem unless you've got a cracked fuel line or something in the tank which could happen with any brand fuel pump kit. They are all built around the same basic concept and should flow equally for single pump setups provided everything is in good condition. Have you pulled your fuel pump setup to see how the lines and everything else looks? Is your walbro whining louder lately? I know mine was when it was failing and also noticed the car idling rougher than usual.

I've got the BlaqOps Kit and overall it was pretty nice except that one of the fuel lines in the tank split in half a few months back and I had to have that replaced.

Ultimate Racing got a bad name initially for their poor weld quality. I know Shawn had 2 or 3 downpipes crack at the weld and I had a test pipe split completely in half at the weld from them in the past, I will add however that they did replace all of those parts without question.

Yeah ive heard tons of people complaining about ultimate racings conversion kit. Now when you say rough idling define what you mean? Are we talking motor wise or heavy vibrations in the cabin?

Not too bad this morning. I hit snooze a few more times than I usually do.

I think the giant burger soaked a lot of the booze up.

interesting that the cams and valve springs were the problem with it. must have been floating a valve or something at the higher boost range. map beehives not very strong? or the tomei cams worn that bad...

I know very little about Tomei cams, but Andrew's MAP valve springs seem to be working fine on the FP4R's revving out to 8,500. It sounds like Ryan's flaking FP4R lobes damaged the rockers too so a lot of components needed replacement.
