A friend from work did the exact same thing. Everyday he went to the house to check on everything and make sure the material was up to his standards. He even went in and installed his own extra installation into all the walls before the sheetrock went up.

We will definitely build our next home.

I heard an author discussing it last month on NPR. His studies found that by arguing, they receive validation of the man's commitment to the relationship. Men on the other hand, seek predictability and peacefulness. It adds to the productivity of his efforts and of the commitment.
