Amy says if I want the CTS-V I need to sell the 930 so that the V can go into the garage. Anyone have $29k laying around and want to buy an 84 930?

Obviously the answer is to build on to the house.

DonHerring and I drove a trade-in CTS-V. It's an Evo for retirees! If i'm gonna shift, I'll take an Evo. . .

Had an Evo. Done with tin can doors and poor (relative, DH is good, but can't match a high line dealership) dealer service.

I'd love to build onto the house (and it is literally the only reason we'd move), but there's no space since we pushed that side of the house over too far and there wouldn't be the 7' required setback :-/. Sometimes you make bad choices and don't realize it until 10 years later.

Too late Bambi, I already put a down payment on that house. Since I'm gonna win the lottery.

No joke, that house has been on and off the market for about 10 years. I've had my eye on it for at least that long. Congrats, Tom, 8 mil is a good deal considering it was originally listed for about 17.

Also, I will live in a tent in your backyard.

what are people using for energy? my long term plan with TXU expired and they dont have very competitive rates. reliant is a solid 40% cheaper but there are other ones i have never heard of cheaper yet.

www.powertochoose.org

Figure out how much you use monthly (we use between 700 and 5000 kwh/month [Jan 2012 vs. July 2011]) and look deeper into the rates as that site shows for 1000kwh. Most people have a monthly "customer fee" of about $10 that will swing the effective c/kwh.

thats what i've used to check, but some of them i've never heard of. not sure hassles of crappy service/billing/etc is worth 1.5 cents/kwhr TXU has always been easy to bill/customer service etc... they just arent competitive price wise anymore it appears even with other providers i know

I've never had any billing issues. They just charge my card.

Your provider just passes through billing to them. It's an interesting system how it works. I'd really, really not worry about it. Just find the one that's the lowest for your use and move on. I switch every year or two.

We have reliant. They seem to have good rates.

I've used Champion Energy Services at three separate apartments. I love them so much.
