They will be fine, you can actually learn a lot on tires like that since the curve for loosing grip is very linear as opposed to an r-comp or slick. They will let you know a lot sooner that you are approaching the limits of adhesion.

There's a pretty awesome little local shop up in Grapevine. They did an awesome job on a Viper alarm with remote start on my ex's truck.

I will soon be moving to a new apartment and am thinking about keeping a large (50+ gallon) container of E85 in the garage. I will be 30 minutes from the nearest E85 station since I'm going to stuck down by TCU in southwest Fort Worth. This brings me to a few questions:

Does anyone know if there is a law regulating storage of combustible fuel, particularly in apartments?
How much and where could I locate a 55 gallon drum, or some other container for this?
You guys think it's worth it? Is there anyway to have E85 delivered in such small quantities?

I'm just thinking out loud here. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can find the blue poly 55gal drums on craigslist for like $20 and under all day. I think you want to get either food grade or hazmat grade. I can't remember. Kevin will know.

*Edit - UN grade is what you want. A guy on CL in Burleson has some for sale. UN grade holds up to 55% Nitric acid. It's what most of our chemicals come in at work. If it will hold Nitric it will hold just about anything.

Acree, I would also consider weight before buying a drum. It will weigh about 350lb when full. You will probably be better off just getting 4 or 5 5gal jugs to carry around.

Exactly. This is why I was looking for a possible solution with a delivery company or something like that. I wanted a large container that I could justify running E85 daily. It's a pipe dream but I figured someone might have figured it out. Filling up 4-5 5 gallon containers at a time isn't really an option considering that only gives me another 250 miles before I have to fill them up again.

I need to start a e85 delivery business!!!

Weight is becoming a issue for me as well. I am going to keep a couple of 15gal drums due to weight I think. They will only be 120lbs a pop.
