once again Apple is going to sucker millions in with the "new" phone that has barely anything better about it... same camera, same look, same RAM, same memory....
bigger screen!! (so what, androids already have that)
faster processor!!! (good androids blaze past on bench tests)
better front facing camera!! ( seriously how often do you use that front facing camera??)
i wonder if there will be two versions.. one with siri one without.... so they can squeeze a couple hundred more out of the masses...
did you notice the NEW plug.... now you have to buy NEW adapters to fit all your other *I* stuff... lameola...

I've had my iPhone 4 for over 2 years now, and I was able to set it for $290 on Ebay. Who the f*ck cares if the connector has changed, and the phone doesn't wipe your *** for you and all the other BS people are complaining about, it still fits everything I need a phone to do, and does it very well.
And on the Flash comment, Flash is dead. Adobe has already admitted this themselves.

Looks like I'll be joining the group in about 2 weeks. Getting out of the Army and moving back to Cedar Hill. First thing I will do is take the Evo to EvolutionDynamics since my transmission sounds like a can of marbles.
bigger screen, yes. Not as big as Androids, but it STILL fits in your front pocket comfortably.
faster processor yup, faster than the A5. And they still come really close with just one CPU versus the nearly 4 most Androids have and still manage to only require you to charge your phone once per week versus 2 times per day just to text.
Yes, but theirs are bigger, like a brick is bigger. Where as the additional half inch in the iPhone makes it more phone like and still pocket-friendly.
Two problems here 1) "Good" androids...in a sea of crap ones. 2) How can any android blaze past a phone that hasn't even come out yet? I think you are referring to the older models of the iPhone rather than the 5.
Also, this gripe would appear to disagree with your first statement where you mentioned the "same camera." It can't be the same, if it's better. The forward-facing camera was already better than most dedicated digital cameras. Now the other one can be as well.
And they've already explained that new plug. Yes it sucks for those who have a buttload of peripherals, but without that plug (which is faster than the old one), the phone couldn't have been made as thin as it is. The plug allowed for better use of space inside. Personally, I only have to replace one peripheral device...so I could care less. I never saw a need for a buttload of extra crap for.....a *phone*.

It wasn't intended to. After all, haters gonna hate. Hell I didn't give a rat's @$$ about either one until I bought an iPad to use during downtime at work. I'd only previously had experience with the HTC Hero phone with the Android OS (taken back after a month).
Using the iPad was much more intuitive...reponsive too. And syncing with iTunes was a no-brainer since I already had an iPod.
Suit yourself. If a copy of a copy is adequate for your needs, more power to you.
