Hey Jae, They are not exactly the same. The brackets for the alternator are different because the 9 has the moved solenoid in that area whereas the 8s do not. The bolt holes for the brackets are different on the water pumps. That's the difference between the two. The actual pulley, gasket, water neck hole and rotor itself are identical. So If you have a good way to bolt the alternator bracket up it would work.

I saw picture that evo 8 pump on 9 motor. well from picture, there is no way to bolt alternator bracket up...unless not use it at all. Humm i guess its safe to go with 9 pump on this.

Well it's been a while i've been thinking about 60k service. I just don't run many milies a day so it's just taking a little time to do. Anyway strictly modified had best price for EVO 9 timing kit, it was cheaper than STM. I told kevin while ago, i'm sure he will give me good price for it when time come.

Just saw 2 Evos at the Kroger in North Richland Hills. One guy said I just had missed the 4th Evo that left. Funny how we all came for the fuel.
Last night around 8:30ish PM.

I hate it when the misplacement of crayons requires the utilization of a plunger.

If only I had a dollar each time I heard someone day that.... something we can all relate to.

I'm kind of in a bind. I need to know if there is anyone near fort worth with a tactrix 2.0 cable who would let me borrow or rent it from them. I have to have it tomorrow and only for a couple of hours.

Does anyone know if the Cobb Accessport will display live values on X's other than the one it's tied down to?
