The Ticket would be good if the ratio of content : ads was better. 3 minutes of on air content to 57 minutes of ads gets tiresome.

And Russ Martin is an asshat. His "schtick" makes the dumbasses that listen to him think that it's ok to be a *****. The majority of his listeners won't know that he's playing around. They'll think that that's how you're supposed to act.

I see we have another non-listener.

Oh well...his haters make him as popular (and entertaining) as his listeners do.

Sorry, but you sound like a cult member. You're 'enlightened' and everyone else is simply a non-believer or hasn't paid attention, but YOU know the truth, and we're all wrong because you know it to be true.

A is A. He's a douchebag.

I do listen to him sometimes on the way home because at times he actually has a reasonably intelligent conversation. However when he's ranting about B's etc. I flip somewhere else. And I never listen with the kid in the car.

I don't actively hate on him... but if someone say's he's the second coming, I'll raise a few objections

terrestrial radio on a whole isn't my thing other than espn. If i'm not listening to espn, i'm listening to XM.

Agreed. I was only listening the other day because I was driving home during Tornadopacalypse 2012 and wanted to hear any emergency broadcasts. Between BT streaming from my phone and Satellite radio, I don't ever listen to local stations.

I've been a huge Sirius fan since day 1 (as in stock holder and early adopter)... but I'll tell you what... I flip channels on it way, way more than I do with terrestrial radio these days (wife's jeep has it, don't have it in the M5). Not sure what it is, but I'd rather listen to Pandora streaming (yeah for unlimited sprint, including data roaming ) than XM most of the time.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.

Though I must admit I find it funny every time I see someone actively hating on a show/host they don't like. You'd think if they really didn't like him or didn't listen, they'd have no opinion at all because they wouldn't even be aware of him or his show.

It's kinda like the scene in Howard Stern's movie where the execs find out the people who claim to hate the show listen longer than those who claim to love it. "Most common answer given -- 'I want to see what he'll say next.'"

Even I don't listen to 100% of every show. I breeze out occasionally or skip through segments I've heard before. He's not always outlandishly funny. But I do get at least a fair bit of entertainment out of each show.

That's just what I'd call being a responsible parent. Nothing wrong with that.

Oh he's far from the second coming of anything. But considering most radio stations' playlist selections or show variety, he's definitely the most entertaining thing on.

From: Tx,
I'm about to change some of my provider, ADT, Verizon, La Fitness freaking expensive with this gas prices. Verizon even with Triple Play is still way up.

Smith Thompson is only $16.95/m. I think my ADT is $50 something monthly

Texas Family Fitness is only is $6/m. La fitness $35/month

Dish network is $20 and since I dont watch too much cable etc. Verizon triple Play skyhigh even with discount($199/m).

I might get Vonage for $10 for my landline.

Now what basic Internet( as long as it is not dial up,lol) is cheaper than Verizon. Road Runner I think, any other provider? I don't play games anymore. Clear I think is still pricy.

With electricity I already switch to Ambit.

Is AT&T in your area? Try their crappy $19.99 DSL. Should do the basic IMO.
