forgot to mention, i got the car back from buschur a couple days ago.

made 490awhp on pump and 570awhp on e85.
im very happy with it.

 

Strong numbers - must be an absolute blast to drive!

 

my only concern is that my turbo seems to be surging big time in 3rd and 4th. i cant determine if its actually surge or wastegate flutter. as soon as i hit 4500 to 5000rpm the boost gauge will literally bounce from 1 to 2 bars a few times and then bury it at 2 bars.

anyone know what thats all about?

I had a boost spike and then creep on my 8. Turned out the MBC I had was the culprit.

 

ya its holding boost fine. i logged it on aem last night and it holds 28psi throughout the pull with minimal taper.

if im in low rpms in 4th and put it to the floor obviously the turbo is going to outflow the motor and surge like a ****, but sometimes im not even at higher load and ill get on it and it sounds like im surging. i have to determine if its surge, wg flutter or a combination of the two. i wouldnt give a damn i just know surge is a turbo killer
