As it is now...the Tilton clutch is fantastic when pushing the car thru the gears...but for everyday driving...sitting in traffic, its too noisy.

I am not going to force myself to sell it...but I figured I throw it on eBay and see if I can get a decent price for it. I won't give the car away..and if I don't sell it...oh well, I'll just have to wait longer for the drag car.
Hey if you are looking for something fun and fast... I know a guy who lives in California PA, that has a 240sx with rb25det engine in it for sale. PM me if your interested and i'll give you his number.

My Buschur catback came today....wow is it ever nice, its used but it looks brand new to me? haha. Now I just need to install it which I still have to figure that one out, hopefully my boss at work lets me use the warehouse to install it or I will have to find a way to fold it up to transport in my car

Sorry had to share....only other person I can tell is my gf and she would be like

btw did any of you need an air tool to get that cat bolts off the stock exhaust? or will I be able to break them loose somewhat easily? I have heard different things.. Need an idea of how extensive this will or will not be? Especially if I am allowed to do it after work...

For what it is worth. I took my whole exhaust system, including downpipe up to the Hampton Route 8 Midas shop and they installed it within one hour for $75. Beats crawling under your car and wrestling with bolts.

Installing a Catback shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to break open any bolts on the cat fairly easily with hand tools. Spray some WD on it if they give you problems.

gt420hp - Installing a TBE, however, would be a little more intensive - so I could see why you'd opt to have a shop install it instead. But I'd save my money and do it myself with a catback.

yeah its a pretty simple install very straight forward. I still think the easiest intsall by far on the evo is the Greddy E01, and Gauges.

its very easy to do just make sure you have a breaker bar handy! I just got some new summer tires in the mail today . I went with the bf-goodrich g-force kd's. boy they are sweet, they look like the exact tread pattern as the advans. I happy they arrived today as i did the nhscc driver school on sat and pretty much burned the rest of the advans off. The evo stunned many of the instructors and subie guys! they were lining up to take it for a spin.

Those are some good tires you got jeremy. I am thinking when my MX's are gone i will be running some ADVAN Neova AD07 in 245/40/17(the size i'm running now)... A few extra dollars but after the stockers i am told these are the ones that will compete with them the best.

Yeah im in the same boat I love the feeling of a job well done on a car, gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling that says "hey great job, now go grab a beer and celebrate your hard work!" .......

Im putting it on in T-minus 2.5hrs and counting! thankfully I have a cool boss and hes like sure you can do whatever you want in the shop when your done with work, so now I have a place to tinker with my car on the weekends instead of my parkinglot in Bellevue!

Thanks for the info.! it will be a piece of cake....aslong as those cat bolts arent a ***** to me...

That was simple....took under an hr. and the hardest part was those cat bolts for sure. I sprayed PB on them and put a 1/2" drive and then put my foot on the handle and pushed....They poped loose easier than I thought but took a lot of force and a couple jolts....The buschur fitment is great and it sounds awesome, I still have stock dp and cat but its def. louder than stock, but its a good sound ... How much of a difference in sound will a highflow cat have from the stocker? I actually wouldnt want it much louder than it is right now, its perfect to me....but I want to get the rest of the exhaust in the near future.

OZ I know what its like working in cars in your driveway...haha, I turbo'd my old crx in my parents gravel driveway...after it was done my back was chewed up bigtime! That was by far my biggest accomplishment and I was very proud, I learned a lot in the process as well. Plus it was fun piecing together everything, and making custom parts (My dad is a welder so he comes in handy when I want to make something). Putting it together was almost as fun as going to the dyno and laying down 205whp on 6psi on a d-series with a rough and conservative tune.....Turbo cars are just so much more fun, I would never want to drive n/a ever again.

Later on
