this is a sad day in pittsburgh history.. That as reigning superbowl champs, we cant beat the worst team next to the arizona cardinals... if the browns win, we are tied for last place in our division and 4th from the bottom in the NFL.. wtf?? Ben should not have started today. I think it all came down to bad decisions on his part. Especially since the raider offense scored nothing other than field goals.

I think you wanted to say Cowher. What it comes down to is this, the steelers are no longer hungry. You got a fairly young team, that just won the super bowl the previous year. Not to mention the manor in which they won it, and cowher and the rest of the team will use that as a "we can do it again" mentality.

The problem with that is this, last year before we started that losing streak... we had a GREAT start to the season.

Personally, right now we are the worst team in football.

not Ben huh? 4 interceptions will do it every time. I think your right, but we need the whole team to step it up. its over for us! all we can say now is " we won the super bowl last year". hopefully it won't take another 20 something years for another one.

when you lose to a team that had under 150 yards off offense, and you have over 300... you know there is something not matching up.

I am boycotting steelers games for the next 2-3 weeks.

you cant blame cowher for this loss. Look at the stats. Like posted before, we had over 300 yards passing alone, plus rushing, they had a 150 or so. The Raider offense scored 6 points, both field goals, we scored two field goals and a touchdown. We should have tied it. Ben should not have played today. His ego got in the way of this win. The only touchdowns scored were by their defense off of two of Big Bens interceptions. Ben lost this game for the Steelers, not Cowher. When you look at the play calling, they went to alot of runs, b/c even the coaches werent comfortable with putting the plays in Bens hands for some bigger passes. When they did, he gave it up to the Raiders. But showing confidence in your quarterback I guess is better than switching to Batch for a game. He is a heck of a backup. Everyone has their good and bad days, I dont think Ben should loss his starting position in anyway, but there are times this year atleast, he should be pulled. Our defense did a great job, and if Ben wasnt worried about his head, I think he would have ran for that last touchdown and made it. That would have tied the game instead of making a bad passing decision. I mean come on, Ben leads the entire NFL in interceptions and missed 1.5 games. I think when he is back to normal it will be good again. But this is the first Steeler football team to win a superbowl and not go back the second year to repeat the Super Bowl win. The chance of that happening now, oh.. They are about the same as me winning the lottery right now, and I dont play it!!

About half the city already does. Ussually I record the game and watch it latter(no commercials) and run errands/shop during the game.

Yesterday I acctually saw lots of people out and about during the steeler game. Sad day
