email flashes are a much better option than a mail-in because you can send logs and get changes sent back you. The more info you can supply the better it will be which comes down to if you have the proper equipment: wideband, 3or4 bar map sensor, etc. Not to mention you need to have a laptop & cable or access to one to do your own flashing.

BUT the best tune imo is someone actually in the passenger seat of the car experiencing how the car is responding to changes, whether it be a road or dyno tune.

Yeah it should - just make sure the car is fully warm, and all electrical devices are off in the car (headlights, stereo, etc) and use evoscan to activate the actuator to adjust.

You can disable the idle check in the periphery as well which will make that code go away forever - i think its recommended on the 965 rom? Let me check to see what I did with brians car and I will let you know for sure because his does not throw a code.

Also brians car BISS was waaay off - when i initialized the actuator the car would just shut off, so I had to turn the screw a few times before I could even keep it running with the actuator on to actually adjust it per specs..

Travis, it's nice to see someone explain things instead of just stating opinion.

As far as tunes myself. I have had 3, one custom road tune, one custom dyno tune, and a jestr flash/email with logs. I have been happy with them all really. Sure I might be able to make alittle more power but I don't really care. My opinion of a good tune is, one that gives the car more safe power and makes the car run with the mods I put on it. I kno a few tuners who make good power from cars, but have had way too many customer issues then I like. So it really all depends what you want. If you want to say you have so or so HP then I'm sure you can find someone to get you high numbers. If you want a safe, realiable tune. Go for one that is proven. Or someone you trust!

Buschnerj, did you buy that ARC exhaust? Boy, you are a baller. Lol
nice exhaust but I personally would never spend that kinda cash on one. I regret having $500 in ARC ti engine dress up parts.

Altho I cant wait to see it.

Altho I cant wait to see it. You have a nice setup with the KW's and all your parts. Are you going to get out on the track next year? I'd love to have some more cars come out to play.

Yeah, i got the ARC off of a member on here and he cut me a pretty reasonable deal. I sent him my greddy, which he gave me 1000 cash for (more than I paid for it new) and I sent him 1500 and it was a done deal. The coilovers I sent him my bilsteins and he sent me his setup and it is running great. It was custom set up by robi himself, sits great and feels even better. No complaints at all.. I would be happy to come to the tracks or a meet, just let me know when and where... Oh and FWIW the ARC is like night and day, the Greddy was so loud and obnoxious without the silencer, the ARC is quiet at idle and sounds perfect at cruise and WOT, no problems at all...

1) Any idea what index race means?
2) Are you in?

I would suggest you skip the turkey lunch to cut down on weight.....

Edit: nevermind they dial you in between 20.00 to 29.00 and you have to run that time... may be a good event for a stock Evo lol

if he doesn't eat a mess of turkey that day there is a good chance a strong breeze will carry that RS right off the track.
