Eric,

Yeah ill get some pics tonight after the Packers Giants game is over. I got the samsung surround sound just because they are ultra mobile in the event i have to move or something. Also they actually sound amazing and take up very little room.

As for the car, nah nothing new. Waiting for summer to roll around. Probably throw on a new turbo, fmic, injectors, fuel rail, new exhaust system and that is what i'd ideally like to get done. We will see though, i got some plans for the GF so who knows.

Where is CBRD? I might be interested....I am hoping to get IC piping and FMIC ordered and installed in the next 30 days. Gotta get some upgrades before racing starts in April...

Eric,

Here are the pics of my set up. If the pics are blurry they are more than likely my fault. I tend to cry after favre loses a big game :'(.

As you can see those, the satellite speakers take up very little room and provide excellent sound. I have 5 all around my room, well 1 of which is the center speaker which is between my DVD player and my xbox360.

Also i have started to play around with some video editing software. Here is a video i made of my buddy's new cobra http://youtube.com/watch?v=AhEPklL6DsQ. This has roughly 520rwhp, the goat roughly 330whp.

Well, just got back from Detroit...it was a good time.
HIGHLIGHTS:
-Rented a Tuxedo and crashed the $400 Black Tie reception in the GM Renaissance Center. Nothing like free endless delicacies and open bar .
-Made it to Detroit in 3:15. New personal record.
-Tried to best it on the way back, got pulled over. 86 in a 65 - it should have been WAY worse...freakin' lasers are a b*tch.
-STI doors were open and I took a seat. Interior was not as nice as pictures may indicate. Dash seems to come up much higher and actually seems cheaper than a base Lancer interior. Exterior did not seem much different from a regular WRX...it looked a little meaner, but not much. Overall, pretty weak.
-Evo X looked pretty good. Phantom black is a cool color...its got a sweet metallic sheen to it. The interior looked pretty much exactly like lancer interior - which is actually nicer than the STI interior. Although, I can't 100% confirm it as the doors were locked...thanks Mitsubishi !
-I really liked the BMW 135i in person. Looks better than in pictures...its actually kinda hard to notice the differences between the 3 series and the 1 series unless they are side by side. Interior was pretty nice too. Simple, but nice.
-MY FAVORITE CAR at the show...not even possible to choose. My top three favs though would have been the Viper ACR, Murcielago LP640, and Audi's R8 V12 TDI. The GTR and the ZR1 were right there too, but neither looked quite as intense as the aforementioned cars. It was a good show overall, but one thing I found very, very shocking - NO PORSCHE? Seriously, there was no Porshe exhibit when they are usually as large as the massive BMW exhibit. So, still scratching my head over that one, but it was still a good time.

Oh, on the way back, my car hit fuel-cut (again), but this time the CEL came on? Is this something to be expected from hitting fuel-cut or could I have messed something up? This is probably the fourth time this has happened, but the first time I have thrown a CEL. Let me know what you guys think.

Oh, and if anyone wants to see pics, let me know. I have good pics of almost every single performance-oriented vehicle there. Bought a brand new 7.1 mp Panasonic Lumix camera with 10X optical zoom. It was well worth it.

whats up guys? Well i got the downpipe and cat replcacement pipe installed but ran into trouble with the "custom" exhaust that the prior owner had on the car, Turns out that it was 2-1/2" pipe not 3" and it didnt match up without leaking alot. So now I am looking at a catback. What do you guys think about turbo xs? I have a hookup for a good deal on one. Also while under the car i noticed that with the spearco intercooler the intercooler piping was still original. I assume it is really not doing me any good having this big intercooler with restrictive piping. Do I just buy any intercooler piping kit or do i need one specifically for that intercooler? I hate when people do things halfway and I cant wait until all of this is fixed....

Thanks in advance

the turboxs catback is very loud if i remember correctly, but it's a decent exhaust.

LICP can be good. UICP isn't know to to help. Big intercooler helps.

I have the turboXS. It is pretty loud. Sounds good. If you want a ride in mine before you buy let me know. It sounds a bit different after I got cams. If I remember you were getting cams?
