local Pittsburgh Meet
i think paddles, for the most part, take alot of the fun out of driving aggresively, but you can't really argue the performance.
i look at it this, if formula 1, and wrc, and several other types of professional racing use them, there has to be something to it.
ever watch a wrc stage where someone's paddle breaks and they are forced to use the manual gearbox? they hemorrhage time compared to the other drivers.

So i stopped up to see the X. Thanks Mike for the tip! Well i guess i'm not that impressed. I wouldn't even think of trading my 8 in for it. The seats seemed kinda nice. The exterior wasnt' as good looking as i thought. Overall just not that jaw dropping. Oh well, cool too see tho.
evo X

sorry i missed you running around like crazy.......Yea I kinda think mitsubishi missed the mark with the new evo....Its just not as refined as the older evos.,to much styling in the wrong places........Driving it ,well not impressed... I need a hot, dry day to put through its paces .....I think it almost feels top heavy.......

i really hate hearing things like that. the general consensus about every past version of evo is that they have just gotten better.
but now it seems like they are starting to forget where they came from and who buys the car.
i know they want to compete at a higher level with things like the m3 and whatnot, but i don't see that demographic of people wanting a 4 door mitsu.
i think that most people that buy the cars they are trying to compete comfort and style wise with buy the cars they do so they can say "yeah, i totally drive a _____". where as i bought my car so when they say things like that, i can say "yeah, but i payed half as much for my car, and it will flog yours on the track"

Yeah i agree. Plus the M3 just ****s all over the Evo. I think the fact that the evo is becoming even more expensive. Personally i don't want to pay over 35k for a mitsubishi...
Also being friends with the right people within the dealership never hurts either....nor does giving them a lot of business to get a little extra special treatment.
Hey guys still have a few things for sale
HKS 272 CAMSHAFTS
GARRETT GT3076R TURBO
FIC 850cc Injectors
I might be parting out a few other parts as well possibly the full turbo kit , fuel injectors, and FMIC.
The Camshafts had made a +28 whp on a before and after with the stock turbo.
The GT30R had gone 11.1's @ 125 mph. It has only seen up to 28psi
