You'll be hard pressed to find a new SD for sale anymore.

Sometimes you'll find the SD for sale real cheap. You can get a new HD pressure plate from Exedy and have an HD for a good value.

Hope that helps.
Thanks, this def. helps. Ive heard that the SD has been discontinued due to an "inferior pressure plate" but was unsure exactly how to interpret this. Im running most bolt on mods, nothing too serious yet, but plan on someday doing a turbo upgrade (but not for at least a year or more) and am trying to figure out whether the Exedy Twin HD/SD or the ACTHDSS is the clutch to go with...Ive heard opinions bot ways, most ppl obviously say go with the Exedy HD and dont look back, but I also dont want overkill becuase this car is my daily driver and will most likely continue to be for quite awhile ans would like to maintain some semblance of drivablity. Any opinions or two cents would be appreciated.

Pedal feel was stock. a little heavier, but deff stock feeling.

Just enough slip too, so there were less chances to snap crap in the drive train.. I would recommend it to anything up to a GT35r. not a GT35r on race gas though.

Mu suggestion, its a far superior clutch over the ACT and others in the "same" power range.

From those 2 pics, it looks like mine (Turbo XS). Mine does not have any stamping on it either.

Just wondering if anyone is going to be going to the dragstrip tomorrow. Pending the track is open, I will be at Pittsburgh Raceway Park promptly at gate opening 11am. Racing starts at noon. I can almost taste delicious 12's...

I should be out with my cameras and stuff so I'll catch you there probably. If the new ride gets back from Philly in time I might have to run you

Also big thanks again to mitsumike for going above and beyond the call of duty to get my car in racing shape. Thanks! You all need to come up to NP on sunday for racing if you want to see a monster car in action.

this has been the longest week of my life waiting for this weekend.

glad the car is in running order now. are you still have clearance issues, or did you "convince" the fenders to do what you wanted?
