not so. scr has an autocross at beaver run sunday.

not quite, but almost. between Steel Cities Region (SCR) chapter of the SCCA and the NHSCC, there just about is one every weekend, but there are a good bit of gaps in the schedule.

I had never told anyone about what happened recently, but i required me to take back my rockband for my xbox360... , so i invited these guys over and they got me kicked out of my apartment!

yea, like4 or 5 months ago. I thought i was going to go tilton, but decided to go exedy triple instead. I could have bought a conversion kit to upgrade from a twin to a triple

yeah its like $4200.00 I am doing the regular triple. Carbon clutches are no go for daily driving. They need to be heated up before you launch the car. they break down fast if not tracked properly. The nice thing is, they are not THAT expensive to repair, but you can only repair them like 3 times before it is necessary to buy a whole new clutch...

That is just plain stupid lol why in the hell would I buy that clutch for that much when they go out so easily.......

well, another fun autocross today. the weather even cleared up nicely, and by mid afternoon we were enjoying the sun.

dave, colin, jim, and travis, impressive driving today guys. it was nice to see so many evos turn out.

you guys need to slow down though, you're making me look bad

jeremy, congrats on FTD man, i am hoping for a long streak of those this season!

so all in all, a good day.

You can't burn carbon. When carbon heats up it gets even more sticky. I'm not exactly sure how you wear out a carbon, but I know it's not like cerametalic or kevlar. The trade off of course is the price like he said and the fact that it's not really streetable. Other than that, if you live at the strip Carbon would probably be cheaper in the long run.
