you guys are getting me wet over all this suspension talk.. I really would like to get a nice set of wheels and some coilovers, but I think i am going to stop modding the evo when the motor build is done for the rest of the year. I need to pick up some summer classes to graduate.. will be up here from june 2nd till july 2nd

Well i can't really argue with that. Adustability is a nice thing. Now i'm assumining you kno that when you change ride height you need to readjust allignment. So i'd suggest maybe getting two setting that you like, and mark the approximant allignment setting so you can adjust as needed. Still tires will make more of a difference. Also i'd really look into sway bars. If your running low spring rates you can help that with sway bars. See if i had to do it all over again i'd go
Tires
F and R sway bars
coilovers.
bushings
Then any other little thing you can thing of.
I went bacward pretty much on my modding. And don't get me wrong there is no exact right way. Its just if you looking to get the best times for you money the above is the way to do it.

This year I am focusing completely on the driver mod - I want to go as fast as I can with what I have then by next year hopefully I can afford to pick up some RE01R's
Then I would do light weight parts to shed as many pounds as i can off the car with still being legal and continue going as fast as I can with the driver mod + tires.
Then probably sway bars then bushings - and then coil overs (someday very far away)
Guys, check out how much fun I've been having with my car!

I need money - Does anyone want to buy a Black Hallman MBC RX? I am selling it. It's not even a year old and is working great. I just had to clean it once. I got my original red Hallman fixed by Hallman so I don't need two. I also have the complete install kit and instructions. Anyone interested?
And if someone starts the "you stole my hallman" bs with me, I've had my red hallman before most of you guys even had evo's.

PRP - April 19
I am heading up to PRP tomorrow....I gotta find out what all this money I spent on for mods is going to produce for me.
anyone else heading up tomorrow?
Stupid Ironman thing...$50, which is too much to spend...but missed the test-n-tunes a few weeks ago.
I'll be there as long as they are open!

and for the triple post i throw out a YES, i love suspension, just always thought the evo handled like a dream stock, not sure if it would be much better modded for how i drive anyways. Now being a race track kinda car i might need it....
wet because i pooped myself?

I am going to have to think about it for a few days. I can get stiffer springs on lower end coilovers for the same money and the ability to corner balance the car would be really nice. Dan's car with those Stance's is pretty impressive too. Or maybe it's just Dan
Maybe I will just get a rear sway bar to get my feet wet.
That front sway bar looks like it would be a real joy to put it.
Thanks a great deal for your inputs. They're invaluable. Even a cheap 1k set of coilovers is, well $1000.
