Oh I bet, My friend will be there with a Sti and he did really well last time. His
instructors were amazed at how well he was doing for his first time, he said it's
the car not me..lol. My integra was a handful, even on wastegate spring which
was 6 pounds I still made 300+ whp. So that and a new suspension set-up made
for a interesting day. I almost turned the car around twice, but gained control
both times. It was nerver racking but so fun. I'm really excited to see what the
Evo MR can do stock. Any suggestions on things to do for the evo before a track
day?

Its always good to change brake fluid, but if your car is fairly new i wouldnt worry to much. It sounds like your buddy had the same experience as me . I really do feel like the car drives itself. and the intructors said he was giving me his best comment." I actually felt perfectly safe driving with you at those speeds". Its funny tho because after that my dad was talking to a few of the intructor out there and a few said that they won't even get in the evo's and sti's with beginnners.

yea I think they have seen a few "bad" drivers. or lets say unsafe drivers. this is only my 3 track day. 1 BR and 1 at nelson ledges. so we will probably be in the same group. Im hoping they bump me up becuase I did get really high marks last time there, and i was passing everyone. Thats the one problem with these flat out days, you do get some traffic.

I wouldn't mind one more time in the beginners class, especially since this is my first time
there with the evo. I'll glady take a bump though also. What color is your evo?

On a side not I can't believe bairel only has one evo tech and they are only open late
one nite. Do they try and void your warranty for changing your own oil?

Seldom do you find a Chevy dealer with more then one Corvette tech.

Most service departments only have an EVO tech because they are mandated to and they sell EVO's.

How many EVO' are there in western PA? 75-80? Allegheny County having the lions share. The largest EVO meet ever had maybe 15 EVO's.

I see what you are saying, I guess I was thinking there was more of them since
there is 6 evo's in my town of butler. Mike the tech is off the 22nd there next
late nite, and then I have my track day the 31st the late nite after that. So
I guess I'll have to change it myself if I want it changed before the track day.
