So this advice personally is for people who have been burned maybe by a female, or dont have any confidence.
No not putting you down.. just saying in general thats good Advice

Anyone have any experience with the Injen intake? I need to know how to install my MBC and I see that the current setup of the Injen has the stock boost line T'd into the intake pipe. My previous setup went from the turbo to the MBC and then back to the wastegate...not sure what I would do at the nipple on the intake if I were to use this same setup.

Thanks

denny i hooked my mbc up this way. into the mbc coming from the boost/vac line comin off the intake manifold that runs along the valve cover into the mbc. then out of the mbc down to ur wastegate actuator. try it like that it holds boost real well. as far as any unused port on intake or turbo cap it off and done

So you don't have anything coming from the turbo? And how do I cap the the nipple on the intake? What do I use?

Thanks Dan

no nothing off the turbo remember im using a garrett but even the stocker i didnt run it that way. what i did to cap off with in all honesty was a short piece of vaccum line with a bolt in the end to cap it i know it sounds getto but it is more common of a practice than u might think. just use a slightly larger than the line bolt thread it in and done it wont leak and obviously just put a clamp on the nipple end

dont try to use one of those vaccum line caps they will either fly off or blow out like a big bubble. the bolt is fool proof actually i still have my 3in. intake pipe still setup with the bolt cap and all still in it i believe , so if u need an example i can show u off the car

[QUOTE=SlowboyMR]

The only way I buy my gf necklaces, rings etc, is if they are buying me parts for my car. And thats if there is money left after my modding car to buy her fun stuff. The street goes both ways in IMO. Picking modding the gf over the car, bad move, post back to this in two years and tell me if it was worth it. Especially, if you are still driving the EVO!!

/QUOTE]

She paid for my DNP mani/ 02 housing i got from some one a while back and she also paid for my TBE for my bday.... actually she modded my car completely except for my tune ( now you see why i get so defensive. If it werent for her, my car would still be stock )

On the other notes, we have been living together for 2 years now, and attend school together. I just hope i dont get burnt-out after being with her so much.. Good news though, im moving into a house next year with 4 other girls including her, so it should be a little better, damn sorority sisters

My buddy T has the injen intake as well as upper/lower IC pipes. If you want his number just PM me and i will give it to you. He can tell you anything you wanna know about that setup or if you have any general questions. The nice thing is, is that you do not have to replace the battery with a small battery kit..

Wanted the 6 speed and some of the other "nice to haves" and saw a good deal on this MR w/ 1025 miles on it...Has the SE package, Injen UICP, Injen intake, lowered, a few other things, and yes, it has the new BBS wheels. Took everything out of my other one so I can put them in this one
