local Pittsburgh Meet
When you change to a SS clutch line, do you have to bleed the entire hydraulic sytem (brakes), or just the clutch line @ the slave cylinder? I ask because both brakes and clutch get their fluid from the same reservoir. Just curious.
- He would jump off the line from brake boosting with the turbo
- When I would hit about 5500 to 6000 RPMs he would shift
- And I would still have another 2500 RPMs to go
- Plus I can shift 10x faster with the paddles in sport mode
It'd definitely be close with the mods you have though. Exhaust and that. According to dragtimes.com the EVO (MR and non MR) the E46 M3 and the EVO run identical 1/4 mile times. But when you're paying another $15,000+ you should be able to atleast keep up
I Believe it would be lights out for you Home Boy
I think my 30R would have been lights out for ya
Well you have basically the same car as Garcia and I beat him...

I just had a few gripes.
1)I get bored of paddles after the first 5 minutes (so i would need a manual)
2) expensive as hell to modify
3) RWD and heavy
the positives:
1) car is absolutely stunning looking
2) nice power out of the 6 cyl in it
3) love the interior too!
The truth though, i have stomped them in my evo when it was stock.
You will not find a stock 13.1 M3 regardless of what its configurations are.
Soo, even though its a bad *** ride, my stock evo would have still smoked it
Garcia needs to apply to the peteypab school of shifting

As badass as that M3 is, i'd be pretty pissed if I couldn't take it in the 1/4. I shoulda run 13.3 stock. I was practicing my launch today and it is so much better than when I was stock. Can't freakin' wait to run tomorrow...tell me that at least one of you guys will be there
?
?
rob, that car is freaking sweet. i love the m3's. can't wait to check it out at the meet.
in other news, autocross school went great today.
i gotta give two thumbs up to both dave and travis, you guys did some awesome driving today. looks like i am gonna have to step my game up here, you're too close for comfort.
colin, sorry that you couldn't run today man, were you able to get everything taken care of?
