My favorite part of this pic is the "Do Not Block Fire Exit" sign with the two of you right in front of it.
I would also like to do some rolling shots some time when it is still light out. Preferably around dusk. Let me know when you and Jeff are around.

thanks,
Long pants, long sleeved shirt and a helmet.
It's a good idea to make sure your brakes are in fantastic shape beforehard. Fresh fluids are nice too. Your class would be SM.
Definately go. You will love it.

for SCCA members cost will be $75. if you are NOT an SCCA member, you will need to purchase a weekend membership for an additional $15 so that you are covered under the club's insurance for the event.
money can be sent in with your registration form. there is an address to mail it to on the top of the form, or you can give it to Chris Carlisle in person.
the event is capped at 60 cars, so it is a good idea to register and pay early.
if you want to pre register, but pay at the event, they should have the forms up on the steel cities website by mid week, under the time trial section.

we will be using normal autocross classes for registration.
any questions, feel free to PM me.

I'm Paul and yes I drive a red wrx and have met some or a lot of you at autocrosses and at the TT that Justin is pluggin above. I just registered and saw like 5 evo's already there.
Nice to meet ya
(cool smileys

like dave said, you need a helmet, snell 85 or newer, long pants, long sleeve shirt, and a car in good condition.
they will do a standard tech inspection before driver's meeting in the morning. make sure your license, registration, and inspection are all in order, and that all loose items are removed from the car.
if you need a helmet, i have one you could borrow, and they usually have a couple loaner helmets available at the trailer.
other than that the event is fairly simple. we will be breaking down the drivers in to heats, then in to pods. pods will typically be 3 or 4 cars that should be about as fast as each other, so hope fully we won't have anyone catching anyone else.
the only thing about the track is that you're not allowed to drop any wheels in to the dirt. we can't be digging any ruts, they would mean real problems for the karters is we did.
welcome to evoM, paul!
i've been pushing this time trial hard, trying to get as many evos as possible. as much presence and intimidation, throw the subies off their game. haha.
Welcome Paul.
