Don't go modding or you'll need to trade it in again

I hear that. This one is going to stay the way it came. The IX is a real nice car out of the box. I do miss the power though.

I don't think you've seen this one yet? Real classy. Crank windows. White, Of course.

All I'm saying is you don't want to be judged since no one knows you, so lighten up since you don't really know anyone else. It's the Internet afterall, and you can't get a read on someone's intended inflection through a screen.
LOL Again noone got hype in the beginning. And I don't need to do any judging on what he intended his feelings to be on his comment. I made one simple comment back and then all hell broke loose. If he is allowed to comment then I am allowed to. Though almost 90% of the people on here has the money to through around like you with you build, whether you saved to that point or not, I don't have it. So I tried to save my *** some money and did quite well might I add. I did everything by the book and I torqued everything down proper according to the book. Like most of my luck a freak problem happened to my car, and wouldn't you know it was my clutch.

Some of you guys said some nasty things to me, and I don't even give a ****. That is not my point. Im 28 years old and have been raised to treat people with more dignity and respect than I have received from this thread alone.
After reading some of these post about this, I believe I am not the one who needs to chill a little.

Lets just squash it. I leave you guys to your click you guys have here in Pittsburgh. Enjoy!

Fair enought there Mr. grown-up 28 year old...I'm 36 - does that mean I'm more mature. Maybe, maybe not - so don't go throwing age around like it means something. Hell, if age means something, you'd know how to spell..."has the money to through around like you with you build"

If you're a "man" like you claim, then you've written off the Pgh click so "bye bye" - and we should not expect to hear from you any more.

And by the way, I don't give a rat's *** where you do or don't get your money, never asked, and don't need to explain where I get mine.

Well since you're stock, I say the Jeep should do

You're on - I just need to install a few more parts than shifter bushings

Hey its all fair game! Whoever builds the best car to go up a hill wins. Now give me about 200 more hp and i'll give any type of car a run for their money.

Nice cup Justin! So who will come out and beat me so they can become lord? I mean most everyone has unlimited funds to build a race car right.

Well.. I feel obligated to join the discussion.

First off. I do a lot of work to my car, pull/install motors , install bolt ons, etc etc. but there are a few things i would not do.

1) build my motor that I plan to run 9's on ( as a first time build)
2) tune my car (aem style) played around with evo scan/ ecu flash and well
3) Install my own clutch!!!

As everyone knew I recently had a exedy twin installed, and within the first 500 miles, the bolts snapped off the cover plate and caused about $3,000 damage to my clutch and a whole new transmission(that was needed for replacement)

I thought i was getting a deal, and like you felt confident. Backfired. Lesson learned. ONLY let EXPERIENCED EVO mechanics work on your car if it is a job as risky as a clutch install. (seems someone used an impact gun to install my cover bolts ) Yes experience is nice to get, but a job like that is not experience. It is torture. I intent to let my new stuff get installed by SBR because i trust them. If something happens from the time of install to shortly following my tune, I am confident that they will make things right.

Sometimes, stuff happens. Nature of the beast when you own a $35,000 tin can that is more fragile fine china but built like an ox (if that makes any sense?!)

There are a lot of people on this forum who have faced issues larger than yours, take some advice and learn from it man. If you are that tight, sell the car. buy a Honda, and we will see you around...

As for knocking on craftsman tools. I cant agree more with you. They truly are garbage. At my disposal we have a nice sized tool box and the only thing craftsman that seems to hold up are the wrenches. Every ratchet is junk (don't click anymore) every jack is junk (don't pump up, or release down) and for some reason their air compressors and power tools are just trash too.

I enjoy snap on and mac tools ... sunex makes some nice power tool equipment.

as for jumping on people, take it from me. I have started my fair share of **** on this forum, but no one takes me serious. ****, i don't even take me serious, but i dont feel as if brian was out of line earlier. chiiiiillll out man. we know you are pissed... stack your pennies, and go for round 2.

everyone knows the evo is a money pit
