stock boost control is load based.......so when you mash it in 5th gear you will spike higher as there is more of a load on the motor. The 3rd gear will spike less.....hence why you see a different amount of boost.

Anything can cause knock.......gas, humidity, temps, moon alignment, etc. Why do you ask, what are you experiencing that makes you think the car is knocking since you aren't running a logger to actually see if it is.

I wouldnt think neither your FMIC or catback would be contributing to knock. If anything, the FMIC would help cool your IAT's which helps to prevent knock. You will have a better chance of knocking with hot air than cool air. Jeff, if you are interested, i have evoscan and can atleast log your car so you can see what its doing.

Haha, I drove one of those for a week when my car was down. It was awful. It was also purple, which didnt help anything. Just amazes me that someone would actually pay money for that POS.

travis...i was just thinking that because i just put on a catback and fmic here recently.....i didnt think those mods really needed reflashed or anything and maybe thought it might have a low knock count because they werent

Seriously, if you can get sheets, I want them. I would like about a 24 x 24 inch 2x2 weave sheet if possible. 1 x 1 would also be okay. As far as thickness goes, I want thin. thin enough to bend if needed. Let me know Steve. Thanks.

I know it is a little late notice but is anyone interested in going up to PRP tomorrow? It looks like the weather is going to be good and I might be able to get out of work. Anyone who is interested I will probably be leaving from Greensburg around 5:10.
