Anyway, I would love to see some more Evolution owners show up at the autoxs. Typically it is just Mr. Mr and myself doing battle against 20 or so STis and WRXs
I am too lazy to do auto x LOL I hate standing in the sun picking up cones.. I just do track days instead.. Well at least I admit it.. Sad but true. I enjoy but would need new wheels and tires before I do that.. Perhaps late summer. I did promise a friend I would take an Auto X course with her.

Cloud, as far as Autox goes, come on out, screw buying the tires. If you come to the autox I'll make sure you get a better job than cone ********. In fact I'll go as far as promise you'll have a good time. Buying new rims and tires is not a requirement, especially in the winter when R compounds just don't work (below 50- 60 degrees and its a waste BTW). Evo8dad is right when he says there was me, him and one other Evo. There were at least 20 STI and WRX's there. I guess Subie owners are just more into racing there cars competively or something. I personally enjoy beating every single STI that came out but 1 I think this past time, but hey, thats me

Hey Dan..

Glad you are gonna make it.. If you know any other evo owners that may want to come along tell them go come on over and sign up. It is an Evo only event though to keep the numbers within reason.

10 cars.. woohoo

Oh and I have March 18th on my calendar for AutoX in Warminster guys.
Will I have a hard time borrowing a helmet.??

Craig

Craig:

You will not regret coming out to Warminster, other than that you will most likely be hooked by the first run, trust me. Also, Warminster is the best site that we run at. It is a huge course on an old runway

About the helmet, the Philly region has spare helmets for guys to borrow for their runs, so you will not have a problem.

10 Evosand counting, thats awesome

Looking very forward to it! I have not done it in a while but will give it a shot.
Probably not going to make the track event though at the Glen.. My schedule is packed! Anyone up for a FATT at Summit point sometime?

If anyone has friends that may be going.. push them to sign up here so we have an accurate idea of how many cars..

Damn. Now I've gotta check and see if I’m working overtime on March 18th.

I just can't stop putting miles on this car.

Folks..

I have had a few questions about pace and want to know what you guys want / expect for this run.. I am not sure of everyones ability, comfort level, etc

Not everyone here has road course track time in and I for one do not even have one summer in with AWD under my belt. I am going to AutoX in Warminster on March 18th and hopefully can get one track day in before this event so that I am more comfortable with the car.

My thoughts are spirited with periods of very blurry scenery BUT not ***** to the wall for long periods of time... These are public roads and not a closed course. I want everyone to have fun but also want us to be safe at the same time..

Please give me some feedback..

Craig
