and I kind of figured that they were trying to get me into a new car, but I told them striaght up it would be a last ditch effort, that I would rather build my engine than buy a X. Though for what I owe he would be taking a huge chance on not making much on the car after paying it off and fixing it.

can we ask how much left you owe? The IX's are holding their value, and even with 60K on the clock and an accident, i am not upside down on my loan. Westboro - would easily make $3-4K on flipping your car. if you've seen what they sell IX's for.

took some logs this morning with the new cat back and LICP. I went for a beat run last night after the install and spike <=29psi. I backed off 8%WGDC and ended up with this curve this morning. ECU boost control is still pulling 5% throughout most of the powerband so i have to remove even more duty (hehe) cycle at only 68% at peak torque. I am hoping to hold 21-23 by redline. We will see though.

This log only goes to 7400rpm btw.

edit: and change the interval on the X axis label! didn't you just take a super duper advance excel for genius' class?

yes sir. And yes it is nice. It is even nicer that the ECU does it for me.

Edit: i spent like 2 minutes making that lol. For some reason excel does that when you use lines on 2 axis.

right now I owe in the ball park of 24,800 due to the fact that I am still waiting for a refund on a uneeded "extended" warrenty that I was talked into buying with the car. I was in Iraq, I thought it made sense at the time but it is actually useless.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did flip my car. But if they are fixing it I don't have to worry about it. I will gladly take her back next week.

oh man... i wonder how much boost you will hold at redline now that you have a full exhaust? it might be enough to convince me to get a quiet cat-back.

I have to be careful not to get out of the efficientcy range of the turbo. I just rescaled the boost targe table to 7500rpm (was 7k) and have 7500 targeted for 20. I was hitting 18.5psi at 7300 in the log with the boost control pulling 3.5% so i think i can hit it without issue. And to think that is only at 75% WGDC
