"We want to know what kind of business -- or what kind of boss -- makes a guy drive across the country and back, and then some, every single month for 12 straight years"

I would hate to drive that far and that long in that type of car.

not if you were getting paid by the mile. When i worked field i would get $.34 a mile = $34 for 100 miles. One month i drove 2800 miles, you do the math. The car only cost me $1000.

Nope...pretty sure I still would have gotten sick of it! I (obviously) don't keep cars too long, so getting mileage on it or not, I would have gotten something else at some point I am sure

I am game for super bowl sunday.

Boston Chapter Ice Racing Bulletin for January 21, 2009

I am sorry to say that we will NOT be Ice Racing on Sunday, January 25th. Unfortunately, we are just short (thin?) of enough ice, and there is a fair bit of snow insulating it at this time. We are going to check around the lake to see if there is enough ice anywhere else. Keep your fingers crossed for a Super Bowl Sunday Ice Race!

If you've sent me an e-mail and I have not answered, I will soon!

Ice Races are tentative events with a fluctuating schedule so always check the Ice Racing Bulletin in your e-mail or on the Boston Chapter BMW CCA website before heading to an event. Use the dropdown menu to select the Ice Racing Bullletin:
http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/events/...Bulletins.aspx

Also, please be certain to Pre-Register before attending an event:
http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/EventDe...ce-racing.aspx

We have secured a new location on Newfound Lake for Ice Racing! The new location will give us thicker ice sooner, is easier to access, and should give us better wind protection.

Directions to the new location are on the Boston Chapter website:
http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/eventde...-newfound.aspx

Registration will now be held in Newfound Grocery: Restaurant and Deli in Bridgewater, NH. As you might have guessed, this means that coffee, breakfast, lunch, and gasoline, as well as restrooms are all available when and where you Register!

I was getting paid .48 cents a mile for 6 months doing on site it work and it paid for half of my e46 325i

That car looks pretty good considering the mileage.
