I probably will skip the alignment day... Maybe I'll head up with yous but there's no reason to take up a slot...
the squirrels are back.
turco- i forgot to tell you- i got a really nice buffer from rick as well. this is a smaller one, so it will work really well. i think it's an 8".
i have the good old 10" too if need be. i wish i got to say that more often *sigh*

i just showed my buddy with the M5 my car. he really knows his **** about detailin. he uses a machine called a porter cable which is a random orbit buffer, so its MUCH harder to mess up your paint. i think im gunna buy that machine and buff my car in like a month when he does his, so he can show me his technique and hopefully make sure i dont f up anything!

Paul i have a buffer if you want to borrow it. It is a craftsman orbital buffer. I would recommend just bringing it to someone and having them detail it. Buffing is a hit or miss, i know professionals that can screw it up. Plus for $100 you can usually get an interior/exterior detail including clay bar. The clay barring alone i would pay someone $100 to do for me.
that alignment sounds like a good deal. i need opinions, im going to be in NY for 6 months (may-nov) and the car will be stored on the garage. ill be buying new tires ASAP when i come back. should i wait to get an alignment when i come back after i get the new tires, or would it be alright to get it now before? it would be alot easier to get it now for me, but pointless if id have to get another later?
