well im back from my "weekend in Philly with the wife" trip. saw 3 evos - saw a black X on saturday morning, somewhere on the border between philly and NJ... then a GG IX with 4-5 people in it on saturday afternoon, near the B Franklin bridge. and finally, a silver VIII, or IX near the pier, on sunday... couldnt tell because of the insane body kit all around

overall, Philly was great (my, and my wife's first time there)....

stayed at RittenHouse (caught a 50% off deal, so only paid $250/night )...
ate at Estia, and Devon, and Le Croix...

Did the duck tour, 2 horu walking tour and then on our own.... South street is a little funny - everyone and their grandma is ridin on 23's, and blasting music. is that a 'sunday special' in philly, or an every-day special ??

overall, amazing weekend, except all those phillies jerseys... almost picked a few fights

 

happy to hear you had a good time. picked some nice restaurants there too. i ended up at one of the breakfast spots i told you about, but clearly didnt run into you haha.
that silver evo with the bodykit is always down there.. hes not on evom as far as i know
and yes, thats south street, all the time. only a few blocks from my place too.

I also wanted to add that I thought it was pretty messed up on behalf of the philly SCCA to not call an ambulance as soon at that focus rolled.. Seemed like the cover up of the century while it was happening.. A persons safety should come before anything else no matter what..

 

So I edited a few pics, kind of overdid it but oh well..

Petey I don't know how I missed you but I did. Ben, Carson, Nick, Jeff, Mat, Chu and Chau it was cool hangin with you guys. I plan on getting signed up for the April event as well. Maybe it will go a little smoother. Hopefully they'll have the times up soon so we can all see how we did. (Chu, you might want to not look at that one... hehe...)

 

Yeah man I missed you ans Marc...I was bouncing around all day man, and even though I brought a chair, I sat for about 10min total..

 

Even if they would have called one it would be a different story.. I was genuinely pissed off about it, but after getting repremanded for taking pictures of said rollover and told not to post the pics online I figured I would give them the benifit of the doubt.. Now I wish I would have called myself.. They may have a lawsuit over this for lack of medical treatment or an evaluation if the person starts to feel messed up the next day and needs treatment.

 

I had a blast yesterday! My all-seasons were so bad once I started picking up some more speed in the second and third. I think my final run was a 66 something, a huge improvement over the first...haha. So I will be doing every event at CPB in the summer series, and the driving school. Thats about 1 event per month. Who's in?

 

Now that I will be getting a 5 speed, I'm all about some HPDE and trackdays!! No more 4th gear to worry about!!
